TuxMath is an educational game that allows you to practice simple arithmetic operations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
The game is a kind of SpaceInvaders in which the aliens have been replaced by meteorites that accompany a mathematical calculation that must be resolved before it strikes the ground.
Tux, the Linux operating system mascot, is the main character and it controls a laser beam that is capable of destroying enormous fire balls, but to do so you will need to answer the operation correctly.
In the beginning it seems easy, but TuxMath gets complicated when negative numbers and calculations involving variables start to appear.
Very fun and didactic, TuxMath is an ideal application to promote the learning of numerical calculations.
